Product Structure

  • A — Stainless steel piston rod — extends and retracts to deliver linear motion
  • B — Zi-Ni coated mounting ends — spherical rod ends for flexible installation
  • C — Aluminum alloy enclosure top cap — seals the outer tube end

Operation

Connect the red and black leads to a matching DC supply. One polarity extends the piston rod; reversing polarity retracts it. Built-in end protection and electronic overload protection help protect the drive under demanding loads. When power is unavailable, use the manual override port with the appropriate tool to extend or retract the actuator.

Speed & Load Notes:

  • Measurements are based on a stable DC power supply at about 20°C ambient temperature. Speeds are ±10%.
  • Code A supports up to 17000N at strokes up to 600mm. For 601–1000mm stroke, Code A can still be used with a reduced maximum force of about 14500N.
  • Example: for an actual load near 9000N, Code C or G is suitable; Code A, B or F provides a larger safety margin and longer service life.
  • Higher free-load speed means lower maximum dynamic force. Select code by both travel time and required thrust.
  • Duty cycle varies with transmission code (20% or 35%). Continuous operation at maximum load is not recommended.

Manual Override

SLA-17K includes a standard manual operation feature so the actuator can still extend or retract during a power outage or emergency. Use the dedicated override port with the specified tool instead of electric control when needed.
